The polyamide fibres under our furniture glides are soft yet highly durable. It doesn't wear out easily and lasts a long time. However, proper installation, correct use, and regular maintenance are essential.

Tips to get the most out of your furniture glides:

  • Choose the largest possible glide foot. The larger the surface, the better the pressure is distributed. This is especially important for heavy furniture, rough floors, or floors with wide joints.
  • Install the glides correctly. Always follow our mounting instructions.
  • Follow the maintenance guidelines. Clean the glides regularly with a damp cloth, vacuum cleaner, or maintenance brush.

To determine the thread size you need, measure the diameter of your current thread using a calliper. Clamp the calliper around the thread and read the measurement from “0” to “0”. Make sure the calliper is placed around the thread and not between the threads.

After measuring, choose the corresponding size. Example: If your thread measures 6 mm, the thread size is M6.

Note: Thread size can sometimes vary slightly – use the following measurements:

M6:
Minimum diameter: 5.7 mm
Maximum diameter: 6 mm

M8:
Minimum diameter: 7.7 mm
Maximum diameter: 8 mm

M10:
Minimum diameter: 9.7 mm
Maximum diameter: 10 mm

Product features
  • Furniture leg type: all straight legs with M6, M8 or M10 internal thread. Always measure the width of the threaded bolt with a calliper!

Important information

Are the furniture legs angled? Please use the Footfixx Threaded that is able to tilt at an angle of up to 30 degrees, automatically levelling out slight inclinations of the furniture leg to the ground.

The Threadfixx is adjustable and can therefore be set to the desired height.

Please note that our glides require occasional maintenance.
