The best floor protection for over 15 years
In 2011, a floor maintenance company expressed its frustration about the lack of good floor protection against sliding furniture in a conversation with Gertjan Verwoert. Gertjan then got to work himself, resulting in scratch-free protective caps equipped with polyamide fibres. A high-quality solution that was the starting signal for Scratch no More on.
2011 - From frustration to innovation
A floor maintenance company expressed its frustration about the lack of proper floor protection against sliding furniture in a conversation with Gertjan Verwoert—the starting point for the founding of Scratch no More. That same year, Gertjan developed the first versions of the Footfixx Hollow, Footfixx Threaded, Footfixx Wood, Tubefixx, and Gluefixx.
2013 - New solutions for wooden legs and round tube frames
The range was expanded twice for wooden legs, with the Footclick 1 in 2012 and the Footclick 2 in 2013. Additionally, this year, the first version of the Chairfixx was launched, designed for tube frames of 12 mm.
2014: The Chairfixx family and the Multifixx
The Chairfixx family has been expanded and is now available for tubes ranging from 11 to 32 mm. The Multifixx is the new scratch-free floor glide for square tube frames.
2018 - Consumer webshop launches
Due to increasing demand from the consumer market, Scratch no More launched its first webshop, scratchnomore.nl. Additionally, a dealer portal was developed, specifically for resellers of Scratch no More products—at that time, already 300 in the Netherlands. A presentation display for furniture stores and showrooms was also introduced.
2020 - Moving to Remmerden 121
Scratch no More experienced significant growth, partly due to directly serving consumers through its own webshop. It was time for a larger company building, which was found just a stone's throw from the current location. Scratch no More moved from Remmerden 123 B to Remmerden 121. Additionally, this year, a 14 mm variant of the Chairfixx was introduced.
2023 - Conquering the German market
Scratch no More had become an established name in the Dutch flooring and furniture industry. The expansion to our eastern neighbours is a logical next step. In January scratchnomore.de was launched.
2024 – Thousandth Dealer & Expansion to EU Countries
The first milestone this year was that Scratch no More reached 1,000 resellers in the Netherlands and Belgium. Additionally, demand from other EU countries increased. The English-language domain scratchnomore.com was launched, making it possible to place orders from almost any EU country from that moment on.
2025 – Relocation to Elst (Ut) & Launch of New Webshop
Five years after the last relocation, the building had truly become too small. Scratch no More moved to a much larger facility in Elst. Additionally, the new website was launched. Both developments provided greater opportunities for scaling up and continued growth.
