Replaceable glide feet for almost all Scratch no More furniture glides

All our furniture glides have replaceable glide feet, except for the Chairfixx and Threadfixx. This has two major advantages. Firstly, you only need to assemble the base part once. Secondly, you don't need to order the whole product if the glide foot needs to be replaced.

How long do the glide feet last?

With proper use (correct assembly, correct dimensions), our gliders will last at least two years. However, make sure to maintain them regularly. Wipe them with a damp cloth (do not use soap!), brush them off, or use a vacuum cleaner and the polyamide fibres will recover.  For rougher floors, always choose the largest available glide foot. The larger the surface area of the glide foot, the easier it will slide.

Do I need to replace my glide feet already? 

It may seem like your gliders need replacing, but usually, that’s not the case. It could be that the polyamide fibres are stuck together or that they’ve been flattened by the pressure from the chair. This is not a problem. Simply brush them off and clean them with warm water (without soap), and you can use them again. Unsure whether they need replacing?
